Ownership alone may not settle every permission. Review the people, third parties, contracts and restrictions connected to the records.
What needs to stay out?
Identify sensitive, personal or confidential information and agree what must be excluded, removed or otherwise handled before any use.
What exactly does a license permit?
Define the dataset, intended uses, users, restrictions and commercial terms. WorkMatter’s proposed exclusivity applies to agreed external AI licenses.
What makes an example useful?
Set task-specific expectations for context, completeness, consistency and review. Document limitations rather than suggesting every example works for every purpose.
